Wouldn’t it be great to be able to go a fragrance free restaurant instead of having to move around or actually move along because you cannot find a place that is comfortable for your sensitivities?

What would most of us do devoid of the marvellous suggestions you share on this web site? Who has got the perseverance to deal with crucial topics in the interest of common subscribers like me? My spouse and i and my girlfriends are very fortunate to have your blog among the types we regularly visit. Hopefully you know how very much we love your working hard! Best wishes through us all.

Oh yeh, totally. If I were to go to a restaurant now, it’d take me days to recover. On a more positive not, David, here in Melbourne, Australia, smoking will be banned in outdoor eating areas, which would be a great help. My theory being, if it’s chilly weather, I could rug up warm and sit outside at a restaurant that has indoor and outdoor dining, everyone else would be inside and I could enjoy my meal. However, I’d put my mask on if the waitress had fragrance on.
I’m in the process of writing ‘How to have a fragrance free Birthday Party, Part II’. This party was in a restaurant; it was my daughter’s 18th, and it was a success! It took a lot of organising though: Here is the link: http://the-labyrinth.com/2013/01/20/how-to-hold-a-fragrance-free-birthday-party/
Thanks for all the wonderful information. Oh, I have to check out your ‘Schools/Collages’ link

I recently went to Papasitos Mexican Food Restaurant in Arlington Texas. We asked to be seated in the outside to hopefully avoid the smells. The manager told me that it was a mandatory rule that no employee wear any kind of fragrance. So we all need to try to speak to the managers and plead for change. I also went to a natural food store and the product I went for was fragrance free, but it was stocked on the isle with all of the scented oils that the smells was so strong I got sick and had to leave then. I asked to have the manager meet me outside to discuss it with him. When I explained , he said thank you for letting him know, he had not thought about it and would make the change gladly.
