Speed stick anti-perspirant . works for me but not really unscented. read the label carefully it says “clean scent”.
Fragrance free and unscented are not the same.

I have searched and searched and found some great products on http://www.grassrootsstore.com. I have used so many products on here and I love them. Many of the products are from Nature Clean, incuding dish and laundry detergent, kitchen & tile cleaner, veggie wash, hand soap etc. There is everything and anything you would need.

I’m having the worst time this summer. I’m allergic to fragrances and since chlorine is one I tend to break out into a rash. Also finding body washes is a challenge. The store I go to has a Dove body wash that is labeled unscented but still has a fragrance. Yet, the dove bar soap is fragrance free. It makes no since. Does anyone have suggestions for me on swimming pools with chlorine? Does anyone know of any other body wash products that are fragrance free?

I discovered The Ultimate Cloth on the Shopping Channel (http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/Ultimate-Cloth/Cleaning-Products/Ultimate-Cloth-Cleaning-Kit-6-Piece/pages/productdetails?nav=R:507909&icid=~NQAwADcAOQAwADkALQBVAGwAdABpAG0AYQB0AGUAIABDAGwAbwB0AGgAIABDAGwAZQBhAG4AaQBuAGcAIABLAGkAdAAgAC0AIAA2ACAAUABpAGUAYwBlAA==). They are actually cheaper than from the Ultimate Cloth website. I clean everything with these – all you need is water. It will clean grease and oil as well as your everyday messes. For my floors and heavier cleaning, I use either vinegar and water, or a steam mop/hand-held steamer. I have managed to eliminate almost all chemicals in my home, and save money at the same time! Glad I found this site – I’ll be visiting often.

Hi Judy,
I am really happy you found CURELLE, which is available at Health Stores in Canada. Our goal was to make something that is plant derived and didn’t contain any of the toxic chemicals, either visible or hidden in ingredients one sees listed on labels. But also, we feel it is was important to not clog up the airways, or cause sensitivities from scent. All CURELLE products are unscented, and as well, don’t contain any essential oils or botanical extracts which typically have a scent as one of their components. I congratulate you on your website and efforts to educate. I would like to point out that there are actually thousands of ingredients that contain toxic chemicals. Hidden toxic chemicals can also be found in ‘natural’ sounding ingredients such as aloe vera, shea butter, grapefruit seed extract, etc. And consumer don’t know that virtually ever cleansing ingredient is preserved but they are not listed on labels, because a bradn didn’t add them, they were already in the cleansing ingredient when they bought it. Saponified oils such a bar soap or liquid soap, typically just list the oils or say they are saponified. Rarely do they list the sodium hydroxide which is caustic and toxic. Most is neutralized during saponification, but a certain amount remains, and even diluted solutions can cause serious allergies, etc., over time. It has a high pH, which is why the end bar or liquid soap typically has a high pH of around 9. Skin is around 57 – 5.8, water is usually neutral at about 7. There is now a CURELLE page on facebook, as well as a CURELLE group, if you are interested. I would also like to mention that sources such as cosmetics database are a good guideline, but by no means do they even come close to exposing all the hidden toxic chemicals out there, in personal care products. But they are going in the right direction, for sure.

Here is a list of products available in Australia. I created this list because some products are hard to find, like fragrance free hairsprays, which I like to give to relatives to use. Also I need products that come from a shop that either sells all fragrance free products or keeps them separate from the fragrance ones (especially bars of soap), so I thought this list would be handy for other people in the same ‘fragrance free boat’ as me. http://the-labyrinth.com/fragrance-free-news/1315-2/

Hi there – I’m currently compiling a collection of scent-free and fragrance-free personal & household products available in Canada. If you have any suggestions, they are welcome – please email me at the email I provided in this form.
I’m trying to increase awareness of these products and make it easy for people to find them so I’ve started this Pinterest page – take a look http://pinterest.com/scentfree

I really love the line of skin care products from Swedish Skin Care. They are not only frangrance free but also paraben free, sulfate free, and dye free. They have a great product for dry skin called Prosanol that I use religiously. Also, they have a product called Razor Burn Freedom which I use after any hair removal process because it keeps my skin from breaking out in bumps and also calms the redness. They even have an anti-aging product that I have not yet tried. I am a fan of this company so far, so I hope others will look into and become a fan too.

Thank you so much for this site and all the great info! I was just tested this week and found positive for fragrance and hair dye allergies. I’ve kinda been flipping out as I continue to find more & more things commonly used that are a problem. I am such a lover of scented things… candles, diffusing essential oils, perfume etc, and feel a drop sense of loss for that part of my life. At this point, I don’t know where to start with eliminating all fragrance & chemicals from my life, & what products to replace them with! I’ve been researching the Internet, and this site is the best resource I’ve found yet. Thanks again for giving me some direction!

Severe allergies to fragrances, dryer sheets, lotions, etc. Having trouble finding a fragrance free hair mouse (or is it mousse?) If anyone has found one, please post the product information. Appreciate it.
Vitacost.com has the most extensive fragrance free beauty products I have found. Have ordered from them for years and am always pleased. Also has vitamins, herbs, etc for building up your immune system. Good luck fellow sensitives!

The ONLY skincare product I use is by Patrick Curelle. It is a FRAGRANCE FREE ~ HAND and BODY LOTION but I have used it for a very long time an my face as well and my skin looks great as this lotion is a GOOD moisturizer for my skin type (on the dry side) ~ I do add a few drops of essential oil to the mixture (fragrant oils that I tolerate) also I add some food-grade Rosewater and a little Jojoba oil ~ and this entire composition works well for my entire skin.
Finding Patrick Curelle,s LOTION was, for me, a gift from Heaven because of a very sensitive skin and being hypersensitive to chemicals. My daughter, a forensic scientist, has read the ingredients and declared that this lotion is probably the BEST and the CLEANEST I could find…Also, I am using this mixture on my hair as well, every day when needed, to make it less fly-away.
