Why the Baby Cries When Held by Certain People
Have you ever wondered why a newborn baby cries when certain people hold it, but not when others do? “Do you want to hold the baby?” Then it starts fussing and crying. Could it be that the baby does not like the smell of toxic perfumes, detergents and fabric softeners? The poor baby is being subjected to health hazards and is crying to say it does not like these fragrances. There is a reason healthy baby products do not contain perfumes, dyes, and other toxic chemicals. We don’t subject our babies to cigarette smoke but scented products are just as bad for them.

Absolutely. I observed this once in a young child, past the toddler stage but young. It was 8pm when most kids get fussy, but I observed something else at the party that night. The child would scrunch up her face and scream in the KItchen/Greatroom area of the house. Holding her failed to stop the crying. But when the child was upstairs in a bedroom she became perfectly normal. Once back down to the kitchen the screaming started. Nobody could console her. When she was carried to another room crying stopped. This repeated itself over and over. But I observed a third factor. The closer she was to the essential oil vaporizer, the harder she scrunched her face face and screamed bloody murder.
